Maryvale redevelopment opened

Premier John Brumby today officially opened Australian Paper’s $340 million redevelopment of its wood pulp and paper making operation at Maryvale, securing the jobs of 950 employees and a further 2000 jobs which rely on activity at the mill.
At Maryvale today as part of the Victorian Government’s Gippsland Bushfire Recovery Community Cabinet, Mr Brumby said the redevelopment signalled a new era in operations for the Latrobe Valley’s biggest private sector employer and Australia’s largest integrated pulp and paper operation. Read more
