Speirs appointed CCV chief

Latrobe Valley resident and former coal mine manager Charlie Speirs has been appointed Director of Clean Coal Victoria, Energy and Resources Minister Peter Batchelor announced today
“The Brumby Government is taking action to create investment and jobs in regional Victoria through initiatives such as the $12.2 million Clean Coal Victoria, which will help unlock Victoria’s enormous coal resource in an environmentally sustainable way,” Mr Batchelor said. Read more
